TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa police arrested a man for throwing a saw blade at a woman’s car, shattering her back windshield on Sunday.
Ryan Thomas, 25, was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and throwing an object at a moving vehicle.
Police documents say police were called to a shooting near East 21st Street and South Memorial Drive in east Tulsa. When police arrived, Thomas had a cut in his right ear and said he was shot there, but refused medical treatment.
A woman at the scene said Thomas had approached her in her car and opened the passenger-side door. She said Thomas threw something on her floorboard, spit in her direction and yelled expletives at her. Thomas then closed the door.
The woman said she immediately began driving away, and Thomas threw a circular saw blade through her back windshield. Officers found the circular blade in the trunk of her car and the back windshield was shattered.
Thomas was arrested and booked into the David L. Moss Criminal Justice Center.
